"How do you do it?"......  People meeting my dogs and puppies alike for the first time are astonished to see how well behaved they are, especially off-leash. The response is more often urgent when coming from others who have previously or currently do own Siberians.

We have put together this section, to help first time owners, breeder, or fosters who have never fostered a dog quite like this before. Siberian Huskies are absolutely eager to please, and adore all types of work. Even if you have a dog without a solid foundation of training it IS possible, that you can work with your Siberian Husky, and make the great working dog it wants to be!

Advice for Raising Litters:

The following advise is our opinions, from personal experience. Always become as educated as possible, before bringing a litter of little pups into the world.

The Importance of naming puppies in a litter   Bottle Feeding and Socialization  Potty Training a litter

Raising an Off-Leash Litter (with commands)   Using Puppy Sitters

Puppies that I raise get kitten harnesses when small, and pull things as soon as they walk well. They also love to go for special alone walks, so they behave well when out.

Other Advice for Training:

Siberian Huskies have a very high prey drive and train wonderfully making proper use of it for focus. To learn more about drives and training through drive, I highly recommend the DVDs and other training material that can be utilized at:   www.leerburg.com
