The Reason for the Breeding

                                                                      OnQ's Adia

Adia is from the original line that I have been breeding. I have been wanting to make a good outcross for some time now, however natural selection made her first litters inbreeding.... Adia captures some of the finer things in a dog to me. She is always happy, very eager to please, seizure sensitive, athletic form without too fast of  a metabolism, hard worker, very fast, great house manners, good with other dogs, and a good communicator.

Adia herself, is a product of inbreeding. She represents the strong points of the dogs in her lineage, and exhibits the traits that I would most like to see passed on in my line. I also know that from my previous two litters with her, that she is an excellent mother, and very capable of rearing quick learning and easy to work with pups.

                                                                                           Howling Spirits Scooby

I have always been a huge fan of Phil and Linda Ruhl's Howling Spirit Kennel. For their first litter, they bought a female from Norway, she was bred to a top German male, and shipped over pregnant with Scooby and his siblings.... Scooby is a very well mannered, obedient, a good communicator, fast, well built, gentle natured, and great with other animals.

Scooby is obviously a product of out crossing. He represents Hetrosis in it's most sound and competent state. His lineage is a rich and mixed one, of well proven working dogs. He represents the type of dog that I would like to produce in the future as well. I was told when I bought Scooby, that he was an excellent father, and he has well proven to be.

                                                                                                     The Incentives

This litter will be an outcross, by more than eight generations. I will be keeping the entire litter, until they have reached over a year and a half in age. My hope is not only that they excel in dog sledding, be genetically stable and healthy, be ideal constant companions but become very rounded dogs. Their progress will be tracked online

Physically both parents are very alike. Scooby will likely improve the ear set of his progeny.

                                                                                                    The Draw Backs

Scooby is not known to be Seizure Sensitive.
