I didn't even sleep the night before. I had an extra dog that
no one planned on me bringing, I was at the busy air pot at 5am Chicago time,.... but I could not sleep on the plane. The world outside my window held beauty to great to ignore. |

Iditarod Drop Bags
may seem silly to include pictures of drop bags,... but for all the work that went into preparing for this race. These pictures serve well to remind those who would think of entering, that this is in fact an expensive race.

The Road home
February 20th, after the end of the Race to the Sky had ended, I rode back to the
Midwest with Glenn Lockwood.
I arrived in De Forest, Wisconsin, and was then transported by my uncle and his
friend, back to Mishawaka, Indiana. |
